Despite evidence that digital screening improves the diagnosis of growth disorders, late diagnosis and referral of patients continues to be prevalent.
Professor Savage was joined by growth disorder and digital health specialists to address resistant factors to the adoption of technology, and demonstrate how, despite a lack of published data on the efficacy of digital tools, supporting evidence of their effectiveness in other endocrine disorders, such as diabetes, can also be applied to paediatric growth disorder management.
