Live Webinar

We are delighted to announce the Springer Healthcare IME virtual meeting, entitled Insights into MAnaging Growth for Endocrine Nurses (IMAGE). This is the 8th IMAGE conference, which focuses on differences in sexual development (DSD), and puberty disorders and reproductive problems in adolescents and young adults.

Owing to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s meeting will be fully virtual. Registration will allow access to our meeting website, where you can watch the live webinar, see video presentations and teaching case studies, meet the experts, and take an interactive quiz.

An application for CME accreditation has been made to the International Council of Nurses (ICN) for this continuing education activity.

This programme is made possible thanks to an educational grant received from: Merck Healthcare KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.

At the end of the meeting, delegates will understand:

  • The basic types of DSD
  • Key messages to prioritise clinical decision-making in DSD
  • The scientific basis for different forms of DSD
  • Principle responsibilities for nurses caring for patients with DSD
  • Clinical and diagnostic features of precocious and delayed puberty
  • Causes of puberty disorders
  • Therapeutic approaches and indications for hormone therapy
